What you proposed was not a hypothetical Non-Christian, you proposed a hypothetically 'perfect' person.

Sorry Watson I thought that was implied in the statement, i.e not asking for forgivness. But to make it reeeeallly, reeeeally easy for you I'll clarify, This person has lead a ideal life in every way, he has been honest, fair, charitible to the extent that all his time, money and possesions has gone to help others. He has been faithful to his wife and chaste until marriage to her. He has been kind to animals and helped in the community. Yet he is an atheist, he does not believe in god and has lived his life in this way for the simple fact that he thinks it is the right thing to do. When he dies he does not ask for forgiveness or accept jesus. The other person is a complete prick and does the total opposite, steals, lies, tortures etc, etc. Yet on his deathbed he accepts J.C and begs for forgivness(and he's about to die, so he REALLY means it) Who gets into heaven? If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. Because their god is an arrogant douchebag lawyer. Stroke his ego and you're in. Plus, a "god bonus" ... if he tortured people in his life than he and god are birds of a feather and they will get along splendidly in the hereafter.
The prick. I can guarantee the nice atheist guy has committed some sins and that the prick has done some good things worth remembering.

Invalid Watson, This is a hypothetical situation and part of the hypothesis is that person A has never, ever done one bad thing in his life, not one. Yet doesn't believe in jesus. Person B has not done one right thing ever yet accepts JC on his death bed. Who gets into heaven? Yes, I know that this would never happen in real life, but that is not the point. The point is to explore the logical consquences of gods "forgivness" If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
Okay. So in this hypothetical situation, we are assuming that God exists, correct?

Since the ability to get into heaven is part of the hypothesis, I would've thought that god was also logically part of the hypothesis. But I'll go out on a limb here and say "yes". If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
Watson?
. . . . . . . . . . . . Watson............? . . . . . . . . . Where'd he go? If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
It's all alimentary my dear ......
