er . . . . uh . . . . how can the Mormon Church excommunicate someone for questioning the church's central tenets, when the church doesn't FUCKING KNOW WHAT THEY ARE ????????? The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

On a sidebar, it took my wife seven years to excommunicate herself from the cult-of-microfiche. They don't take kindly to members wanting to leave the fold, and will install countless hurdles to prevent it from happening. Luckily for my wife, she's mentally tougher than the hierarchy in thou holiest city of the western hemisphere.
