If I hired some French dudes and some Saudi Arabian dudes to build a house, the Saudi Arabian dudes would be diligently working the whole time, and wouldn't even stop to drink beer, while the French dudes would be smoking cigarettes and laughing at the Saudi Arabian dudes for working so hard. Just saying.

Stereotype much?

I was poking fun, but....is it really a stereotype if it's true?

It is absolutely NOT true. Saudi's hard workers? Obviously, you've never been to Saudi Arabia. I have. The Saudi's don't do anything for themselves. Labor of any kind is performed by outside workers, mostly from poor countries. If all the non-Saudis were to leave the country, the kingdom would fall in a week.

Alright, then. Do you concede that French people are lazy?

I had an uncle - since dead - who got contracts for commercial flooring installations in various countries. He said all of his laborers in Saudi Arabia were Koreans.

I can attest to this from personal experience as well.

Lazier than an argument from stereotypes?

No, I haven't had much experience with them - at least not that I knew. Admittedly, I'm not one to focus on ethnicity. I used to be a SCUBA instructor though so I'm familiar with the Cousteau team who invented the demand regulator allowing us to easily breathe and maneuver freely underwater. I never met the famous Jacques Cousteau but I did meet his son, Jean Michele. There was also my USAF recruiter who's last name was LaPlante. Never got the lazy vibe.

Given Saudi's would normally be expected to be tetotal, particularly in the company of other Saudi's why would you expect them to drink beer?
I assume you disregard the time the Saudis spend prostrating themselves or smoking like chimneys?
