Minus "processing fees"... ofc.

Flying will ease up once the controllers come back to work, but there's a question I've got: How many of those controllers will stay at their jobs in, say, the next twelve months? I bet the FAA sees an increase in their manpower issues, which were already critical before this shutdown. How many gov't mules lost their jobs, and even though they're being invited back, how many will return? I wouldn't want to work for anyone who treats their workforce like that.

Intended robo-wipe? Probably not. Intentional disruption? Absolutely.

The guys at the bank are far more intentional and calculating than anyone in this clown admin. Personally...I suspect that when they do fucked up shit that actually works (for fucked up person values of working) it takes them by complete surprise. Like..maybe they do set out to disrupt shit and hurt people...but it fails..and the shit they never even considered covers their incompetence, hurting people in ways they lack the imagination to intentionally effect.

My wife worked for B of A for a couple of years, corporate. Based on what she tells me, they should be broke. I guess if enough money flows through, some of it rubs off for paying the employees and making profit. If I ran my household the way they run their bank I'd be destitute. I expect that all banks are like that. We went into our Chase local branch to pay off our home equity line of credit. One would think we'd been talking to them in a foreign language. After 40 minutes of back and forth, plus a manager running interference, the light bulb finally went on, "Oh, you want to pay off your home equity line of credit?!" I maintained my patience while my wife said yes. Wife says it's like that every time she goes in for something other deposits or withdrawals. Unreal.

ICE Admits To Destroying Evidence

Gee, I wonder why...

Quote:The agency synonymous with immigration enforcement may find itself in hot water after losing some key pieces of discovery in a lawsuit about conditions at an Illinois detention facility.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice admitted to the apparent snafu in a 10-page joint written status report on discovery.

Chief among the missing files is 13 days' worth of video footage recorded at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in the Chicago suburb of Broadview, according to the status report.

"Defendants have indicated that some video between October 19, 2025, and October 31, 2025, has been irretrievably destroyed and therefore cannot be produced on an expedited basis or at all," the filing reads.

Is MTG changing?

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Sunday she will stop using “toxic” rhetoric, marking what would be a dramatic shift in a political brand hallmarked by derogatory comments.

The commitment comes amid a rift with Donald Trump that has spilled into public view, with the president attacking the Georgia Republican personally. Greene, meanwhile, has pivoted away from the Republican Party more broadly recently, criticizing the GOP on a number of fronts, including the party’s handling of the government shutdown.

In an exclusive interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” on Sunday, Greene said she worried Trump’s rhetoric toward her could lead to violence against her.

“The most hurtful thing (Trump) said, which is absolutely untrue, is he called me a traitor, and that is so extremely wrong,” Greene said, “and those are the types of words used that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger.”

When pressed by Bash on why she didn’t speak out against Trump using such rhetoric until it was directed at her, Greene conceded that it was “fair criticism.”

“I would like to say, humbly, I’m sorry for taking part in the toxic politics; it’s very bad for our country,” Greene said. “It’s been something I’ve thought about a lot, especially since Charlie Kirk was assassinated.”

Greene said she realized that she has participated in or supported heated rhetoric that has resulted in threats toward others, a point of reflection for her.

“I’m only responsible for myself and my own words and actions … and I’ve been working on this a lot lately, to put down the knives in politics,” Greene said. “I really want to just see people be kind to one another.”

The only thing she is sorry of is....that she got herself affected by the toxicity she spread. What a piece of shit.

I have my doubts.  She was pretty bought into the whole MAGA thing, perhaps till it really started hitting her base or her family.  I think I read where she complained of how much her adult kids insurance would skyrocket.

I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her.

MTG being hailed as the smartest guy in the room is the surest sign yet that America is on the skids.

Now that leopard is gnawing on her face she cries about how dangerous leopards are. It's a meaningless babble from clueless bitch.
