This just makes me realise more and more how fucking great the human race would be if we just got rid of the cancer that is religion. We are progressing now past the stage of having to have fairy tales govern our lives, imagine if the millions of people devoted to religion were instead devoted to scientific advances, we could achieve such great things!

Hmmm, perhaps it is more disturbing to reflect on the possibility that Jesus himself may well have been as disturbed a nutcase as this south korean man, and guage the changes in one's estimate of mankind to think how many of your fellow humans stooped to worship such a sorry specimen.

Killing yourself literally to please God is demeaning his sacrifice for us and a waste of a life, whatever that life's intrinsic value. Death is a necessary thing, it's also a sometime sad thing, but wasting a life should never be lauded.
