I need book suggestions
I need some suggestions for good atheist or anti-theist books? Could everyone give me some suggestions?

These are the ones I've read and they were great.

"God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything" by Christopher Hitchens
"Godless" by Dan Barker, he's a deconverted pentecostal evangelical so that one offers some interesting view points
"Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Thanks for the suggestions! "Godless" sounds the most interesting due to the point of view of which it is written.

The Bible. Read it closely and it will tell you what a dick god is.

Ohh, The Bible. Just the thought of that fallacy and dogma filled shit bucket, makes me loathe the memories of my Christian days >.<
Currently the only book I am reading is Nietzsche's "Thus Spake Zarathustra"

Richard Dawkins - The God Delusion is an obvious one.

Oolon Colluphid has done some great work, but I don't know where you'd get them from.
I'd like to read them, the titles are so appealing. "Where God Went Wrong," "Some More of God's Greatest Mistakes." "Who is this God Person Anyway?" and "Well, That About Wraps It Up For God."

Thanks, I have yet to read any of Dawkins work. Those title's do sound quite interesting!

I second "The God Delusion" by Dawkins. I am just about done reading it and have found it more fulfilling than any book from my days in seminary!

If you want works of fiction, but thought provoking, I suggest Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" and Trudi Canavan's "Age of Five"
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Check out the works of Victor J Stenger, particularly
* God the Failed Hypothesis
* The New Atheism: Taking a Stand for Science and Reason

I would need to read The Fallacy of Fine-Tuning Why the Universe Is Not Designed for Us, before I can recommend that book. However considering Stenger is the author, it is bound to be good.

Also read Breaking the Spell by Daniel Dennett.

You are bound to find downloads of these books and much more on http://atheistmovies.blogspot.com/
