Roger that. You can show a person the origins of their belief. You can take a comparative look at all the texts from the oldest known to the most current, illustrating how the concept has changed as we ourselves have changed. Failing all of that you can explain in very simple terms that the foundation of the entire concept is flawed. In spite of it all, the devout are unwilling to budge. Not even an inch. They keep repeating the same claims, making the same arguments. It becomes tedious.

I understand christianity because i use to be one up untill i turned about 18..... i always believed that if there was an all knowing god..... you are therefore predestined to your fate "hell/heaven"..... please read passages in the bible where man does not have free will

Gods Child lies yet again and says that there is no fire in Hell. The Hell described in the bible is very much a lake of fire, and several verses throughout several books say the same thing. Hell is full of fire.
..and the thing that cracks me up the most is that g-c has a mention of "strolling through hell" on his signature with a demon and fire behind it in fire red words...not to mention G-C is putting words in his gods mouth with the Nietzsche quote.
Then again, most Christians make shit up and claim their god thinks it or says it... its rather childish. Like asking a kid if her imaginary friend minds if I sit at the tea table with them.

This guy has no particular affiliation with BJU ... but that's how I found him - looking up info on BJU.

My parents came here to give me and my brothers a better education and for a better living standard. They didn't emphasize the importance of religion that much. They never forced me to pray 5 times a day nor told me to read the Quran. Rather, I learned about Islam mostly by myself (from books and internet). But again, in regards to your question, it doesn't bother me where I live even though it's a secular country.
