I see I'm not the first person to notice it. It's really tiresome and has a tendency to derail otherwise decent conversations, so I'd be all for keeping it in one thread.

Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?

Quote:I've seen this about five times in the last couple of weeks. Start a thread and provide your evidence, or stop claiming people are ignoring it. Don't blame Frods for that.....I've never met a single theist asswipe who could meet that standard.
I do sometimes, sometimes I don't. Depends on if I'm high or not.

See, I have a similar situation Zues, depending on how drunk I am, when asked about god, I chuckle or facepalm.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

But I'm getting a bit bored of going into threads and seeing variations on this exchange:Kudos El. But then... you got my point ass backwards. There can be no 'undeniable evidence' (read what I said above and see if you can make any sense of yours and everyone else's requests for the same there) - so I could hardly stump up any. That's the thing I find incredulous... the question so ignorant in the asking. Let me state it plainly for you as you don't seem to know my subtext: if your stance on God is the result of 'undeniable evidence' then I shall laugh at you very loudly (be you theist or atheist). My first thread here was on the very subject and we wen't on for a long time (as I'm sure you can imagine). I'd go into the details with you but I suspect you parked your thinking wagon right there at the gate with no intention of entering in. Yeah I use strong language as do you guys. I don't see why I should pull any punches when faced with ass-hattery, and I wouldn't expect you to.
Fair enough, how about reasonable cause to believe?

Look, there is simply no justification for the belief in a God! Period!
Once you find one share it, and it must be legitimate proof not the bull shit religious people call proof! Get over it, brah. Should I answer?
That's what we must have... reasonable cause. How could you genuinely believe something without? That belief would be fleeting without substance. So... that was a bit odd that hasty retreat there Rhyhtm. I'd wager the revolving door will bring you around again soon though.
