The fact that he gave rep to himself is the most pathetic thing about him, if you ask me.

God saved my life. He is my best friend. I would die for God.

That hardly seems like intellectual laziness to me.
Interestingly, I too have a best friend who really did save my life and while I may or may not die for her I would most certainly expose myself to enormous risk to keep her safe. The main difference though is that she spends time with me on occasion and we have great times chatting about this and that (sometimes the other), going on shopping trips etc; basically returning my friendship. In short, she has the decency to actually exist.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

So if it *appeared* you had a vision of God, telling you to sacrafice yourself by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge, would you do it? ronedee Wrote:Science doesn't have a good explaination for water RE: Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?

How did God save my life?
I was involved in the occult and satanism and drugs and God got me out of it. I was doing heroin and xanax and all this bad stuff, as well as dabling in the occult. It was going to kill me. I was also suicidal. (March 10, 2013 at 12:55 pm)Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote: Metaphorically, I suspect. You suspected correctly.

God didn't save your life, you decided to believe in God and you found that, being religious, you had to get yourself out of that situation. You saved yourself. Give yourself a little more credit. Also, answer my question. ronedee Wrote:Science doesn't have a good explaination for water |
