What if before cutting it in half, you place bacon on one half and sandwich chips on the other half. Then you divide it into two by cutting it, is it two sandwiches then, since both sides do not have exactly the same thing on them or is it still the halves of one sandwich because you prepared it before it was divided up?
(sorry for wording this so badly!)

This is a silly argument. If you cut a sandwich into two pieces you have two half-sandwiches.
However, if you cut it into 3 pieces you still have 1 all-holy sandwich....go ask any xtian moron to explain that to you.

I say we draw a line in the sand, arrange ourselves on either side, pick up clubs, and the last man standings gets the final word. Works for most disagreements.
