Meh, whoever has a platform they disagree with is the antichrist. Because god is an elaborate front for their own opinions.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

God creates men. Then he makes some of them gay. Then he says he loves them all. Then he says he hates gays and they should be killed. Simply amazing logic.
I have not studied the bible, so I ask you guys: has Satan "always existed" or did god "create him" as well?
And seriously, how fucking stupid you have to be to say that stuff like DNA doesn't exist? There is probably thousand times more proof for that than for their invisible man in the sky.

I on the other hand don't think that any holy text has anything to do with the hatred of gays. Let's face it, there will always be horrible people, who hate something so much that they are willing to go to any means to exterminate that which they loathe. In this case I guess it's gay haters that uses the texts as shields, not necessarily the texts as "facts" to reinforce their point of view.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I second that, religion isn't the issue, masculinity is, in my eyes. Homosexuality goes against the norm and as such is unacceptable to people who think men should be manly and women be womanly.
And then those people find confirmation in whatever source they can, and if it's a holy book, all the better.
But again, christian theology does not say gays should be killed, or that ANYONE should be killed. All this Old Testament stuff doesn't come into the equation.
But some christians (and i say some, the fundies are a small minority) still want to justify their hatred, even if it means warping their own religion to fit their morals.
Blame the murderers, not the weapons they use.

Satan was "God's Favorite Angel", and lived in heaven. His name was Lucifer. Then god caught him trying to be all powerful, like god, and he was banished from the kingdom of heaven, and sentenced to eternal darkness.
Hope that answered your question.
They didn't say DNA doesn't exist, they say it was needless material fashioned by Satan to distract people from their faith.

Ah, okay. Well, why wouldn't he just kill him then? Oh wait, I suppose it would take out the excuse for everything bad happening in the world.
Interesting story, but I like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars more (because they fall into the same category as the bible ).
And still, the argument is rather stupid... I don't understand how someone wouldn't be able to believe in something just because the scientist have studied the human body and found all kinds of useful info. Lol, they really need to start coming up with proper excuses/explanations.

Agreed, but there is there really an acceptable excuse for such stupidity?
Mental retardation, maybe?

Many times the statements or underlaying principles are ignorant but the people are not. Never for one minute imagine that you can't be fooled or conned. Magical thinking preys upon us in ways that are very difficult to defend against, it appeals to the best and worst of us simultaneously, it's arguments and variants are as numerous as the stars in the sky. The institutions the push this sort of thing have had a very long time to refine their methods.

BLASPHEMY!
Don't even put that shitty bible into the same sentence as those brilliant pieces of story-telling.

But LotR and Star Wars are both fiction, right?
