No matter what my friend, someday you ARE going to die. There is absolutely nothing you can do - no amount of philosophy or conjecture, prayer or tired cliches is going to change the outcome of your heart ceasing to beat.

Is it your death, the deaths of others, or the concept in general you're struggling with?
There's a Buddhist meditation technique that can help you get over the fear of death. I know most atheists don't go for that, but it might be worth a shot.

Have you ever been in a deep and dreamless sleep, and when you woke up, it was as if you had forgotten you even existed for a while? When your brain dies, everything dies... pain and suffering, especially.
The person you lost will remain alive as long as you are living, and even longer, maybe...
Try to remember at least one thing this person taught you, and then teach it to someone else. Then, one day, that person might teach it to someone else, etc...
That is immortality.

I think people are missing the point, what i am saying is, we as indivduals do not experience death, in terms of experience, we always find ourselves present in the world, always alive

Well I would say of course we do. Always find ourselves alive, that is. You need a living and functioning brain to know anything about yourself. You can't think, oh shit, I'm dead without a brain to think it, can you?
