So, you will cease to exist period? You have no soul, no spirit?

BTW, I'm surprised at how you guys are slowing down on your responses today now that I am feeling better.

For my part (of course that wasn't addressed to me) no, I do not appear to have a soul or a spirit. I could be wrong, but that would take something that you removed from consideration in the OP.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yes, and not that I know of.

Thanks Rhythm. No, I didn't remove it, I just didnt elaborate because you all seemed intelligent enough to me to understand the question as asked. I am sure it's not the first time you've been asked this question. I just wanted to see what you thought about whether we continue to exist after our bodies die. Surely you guys, other than you Rhythm, have thoughts on that.

Ofcourse we have thoughts on it, but frankly, just sitting there and saying "wouldn't it be nice to live on in a nice place after we die" isn't enough reason to seriously believe it.

Atheists can actually believe in an afterlife, so I suppose it's not a question that's completely out of bounds is it.

It is absolutely a legitimate question, I know of a few atheists that believe in reincarnation as well. I just don't.

There you go again, putting words in my mouth that I didn't utter. I just said I was interested in your thoughts on life after death without supportive evidence. What's wrong with that?

Those are his thoughts. You ask a question, you get answers.

Wrong Rhythm, you're just resorting to the sarcasm method of responidng again. He put words in my mouth that I did not say and I called him on it.
