One of my favourites is an obscure Roy Orbison song,"The Crowd". I think it may have been a B side on a single.
I don't love it because it's a great song,it isn't. BUT, it showcases Orbison's amazing voice arguably better than any other song he recorded. A music teacher friend told me Orbison hits "E" at the end . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NefHFoTZjwI
Here's a song from one of my my favourite one-hit wonders that wasn't released as a single:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrJZL77VtCo It starts slow, but it's worth it. For what it's worth, I wanted to post a link to a youtube of Thunderclap Newman's "Look Around" or "Wilhelmina," but those songs are so obscure I couldn't find a video of them.

Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
