Interesting read.

And concerning a civilized way to murder people... you bomb them with predator drones and don't get it in the media...

Well, some people think that the world is all about flowers and butterflies, and rebels who depose "dictators".

Nice work, NATO!
Still, I do not support the way he was murdered. It was very uncivilized.
I'm trying to come up with a civilized way to shoot someone in the head and I'm not finding it, Shel.

Put him on trial first. Tongue

Well, you are a romantic. Nothing more.
I am a lot more, actually.
Sorry, I kinda confuse words in english sometimes.
That is quite forgivable, kilic. Smile
And well, I must say that this isn't a coup, though. A coup is an organized, military intervention of the same state, whereas here, it was the (nato-backed)rebels against the state, meaning, it's being led by a bunch of uneducated minds, who need to be herded by someone. That someone is the west. France gave the rebels the location of Qaddafi, and sat back, enjoying the show.
There is no organized stipulation when it comes to coups. Look at all of the failed ones.
And you are content with that.
I think you meant that as a question because I said no such thing. I am not okay with state sanctioned murder for anything less than rampant murder that shows no signs of ever abating. Let me be clear here. I said the previous because you were speaking as if somehow their fallen leader was better than the things you presume they will do.
And let me state only one thing.
The idea of democracy does not apply to everywhere. Democracy only works in places where it could actually work out. I don't think that democracy works well in the west, as to actually work elsewhere.
Just so that people can get the illusion of a choice, would it be worth to sacrifice your future?
I actually agree with you here. Democracy is not compatible with Middle Eastern/African ideological beliefs. It always ends with someone getting murdered for fucking a guy in the ass. Anyway, it is not really the illusion of a choice if it is implemented correctly. It is up to the people of any country to see that it is.

Google "Pan Am Flight 103" and get back to us.

Overrated.

They do that in Texas and still execute the innocent.

Even if I disagree with the way he was killed, I hope like Hell it was the Libyan rebels that fucking killed him. We had no moral right to bomb Libya or pay mercenaries from other countries to join the fight. As much foreign intervention they had, this could absolutely only be called the Libyans revolution if they personally killed him.

But of course, in 20 years we will find out that the CIA or another government agency started the war like it has started so many wars.

Min, you are quite right about that. Fucking pisses me off. However, I know the guy was most likely guilty, so I would have at least felt better knowing he wasn't murdered like that. Ugh.

Dean! Missed you, buddy. I can see you are as optimistic as ever.

Meh. My bubble is perpetually burst by humanity. I appreciate it, though. Smile

I thought I already sent it to you. Hm. I'll send it again. And thank you again. (I started a sentence with and. I'm feeling rebellious today.)
