Nature created humans and other animals using evolution, life on earth started with abiogenesis, that's nature creating the first life on earth, the big bang created this universe, that's nature creating the universe. So what created the big bang, where did the big bang come from? We don't know. But so far nature has probably created everything so I'm predicting nature was the cause of the big bang instead of God.. Nature has a good track record of creating. That's why I'm an agnostic-atheist.

Okay, we know that,
But really, that is not the only reason I'm an atheist.
Why are you an atheist then?
Personally, I'm an atheist because I see no credible or factual evidence that any gods exist. Plus, it's obvious that the authors of the bible were very superstitious, backwards men, and there's so much of the bible that is false that it's not worth putting any belief into any of it. Lastly, there's no independent evidence outside of the bible which shows that Jesus actually existed as the stories in the bible state, and even if he did, he told his disciples that he would return and the end of the world would occur in their lifetimes.

ID? Really? As stated many times, if there was a designer god, he's a total failure as a programmer
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I'm an Atheist because Cinjin, DiestPaladin or the other Deist nutters here cannot prove God.

Argument from design? Really? OK, assuming that you could somehow actually prove that life on earth was designed by a higher intelligence. Then what? Does that make Yahweh the one true god? What about Allah, Vishnu, Odin, Zeus, or any number of other gods which were once worshiped? How do you know the Raelian cult isn't correct and all life on earth was designed by aliens from other planets? Should I strap a bomb to myself and take out infidels, blow up an abortion clinic, persecute gays, or look for UFO's?
Argument from design doesn't even work anyway, because if you look at evolutionary theory it does a pretty good job at explaining how current life forms came to be. ID doesn't explain anything, but is solely bible-based creationism with attacks on evolution. And finally, all argument from design seems to be is using a god of the gaps explanation to fill in what we don't yet know about evolution. I admit I don't know what the Kalam is.

We dont know. I don't think 'not knowing' rules out belief in God either.
