Accusations of being crazy (what does medical science say?)

Accusations of being crazy (what does medical science say?)
A lot of the Arabs accused Mohammad of being crazy.

By our knowledge of schizophrenia, can we say that Mohammad would not have been able to function the way he did, if he was seeing an imaginary Angel that recited Quran (so it would be his subconscious creating Quran)?

Or is it actually medically possible to function the way Mohammad did and be hallucinating at the same time?

Are there any other kinds of angels? Care to provide some evidence for that? I drove from S. Florida to Boston high as a kite and hallucinating on shrooms about a decade ago. Is it medically possible that I was able to do this? (short answer, yes). You a recovering muslim or have you recently found islam?

I once drove 80+ miles tripping my tits off on LSD. It took an immense amount of concentration, but I made it okay. From a psychological standpoint, it's very possible. There are such things as functioning schizos.

What makes you think that there aren't?

Personally I am not sure if that the events in the life of Muhammad portrayed in the Quran, Hadiths and Siras is all that historical. Since I know little about Islam I cannot say if whether or not there was a historical Muhammad.

Maybe Epilepsy Temporal Lobe.

In summary, while the body is the revelation to Muhammad told his responses:

Angels, seeing the lights, the sounds heard.
Abdominal pain, and muscle spasms was.
There was a sudden feeling of fear.
The neck muscles were quivering.
Lip movements were out of control.
Even on cold days terleyebiliyordu.
Her expression was upset.

Now, compare this with symptoms of a disease EpilepsyTemporal Lobe.

Hallucinations - dream.
Rhythmic muscle contractions
abdominal pain
Sudden state of fear.
Regional muscle tremors not painful.
Abnormal movements of the mouth and head.
Sweating.
Reddening of the face.

Learn more. Prophet mohammed's grave. Shown here, a green scarf, remains at the back door. The inner side is forbidden to cross. There are two pieces of the wall behind the green scarf. Prophet Muhammad's grave behind the walls.

Was Muhammad crazy? Probably. Mystics and prophets invariably are,or have chemical assistance or are simply frauds.(like say Joseph Smith and Helen Blavatski)

You mean with YOUR knowledge of schizophrenia, which seems non existent.

There are four broad types of schizhophrenia, and symptoms can overlap. Cases also very in severity. It's entirely possible for a person to be say a paranoid schizophrenic and seem perfectly OK most of the time. He might occasionally/often claim to be hearing voices and/or seeing visions. Quite possible, even probable that this describes Muhammad.

YES and not uncommon.
