Wow. I lived homelessly in Charleston, So. Car. for some time. I'm surprised the boards have not been burned down (non-flammable material, perhaps?) or defaced or outlawed somehow.

They're electronic, so they're like giant TV screens and very expensive, and several other advertisers are using the same boards we are. No one can deface our sign without defacing everyone else's, and you can bet the sign company (Lamar) will look to collect damages on any vandalism.

We also considered having a regular sign with a coating that allows easy paint wash off.

Ah, an electronic billboard. I was going to suggest a betting pool to see how long it takes for the sign to be vandalized or defaced.

Damn, I was in Columbia in October but won't be back for awhile (yeah, I'm only an hour or so from there...). That is completely shocking that you guys got Atheist billboards there! WOW! Good job! I hope they last!!!!
