There's nothing wrong with you finding gay sex gross. It's perfectly understandable. But while no one is forcing you to partake in it or watch it happen, it's not hurting you.
`No, he doesn't have to watch it if he stays out of the 69 Area. Or are the threads there labeled CAUTION: GAY SEX HERE?

I'm pretty sure that str8 up homosexuals find hetero sex just as gross.

But that is beside the point. It's about human rights. Whether we approve of what people do or not, they still have as much right to human dignity as anyone. They should not have to sneak around to do what others do openly. They should not need beards to live a "normal" life wthat to them is not normal.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

Even if they don't explicitely defecate on camera and just have ordinary sex, remember that they are still full of those gross things at the inside while they are doing it.

I find the thought of eating sprouts gross. It makes me feel sick to think about people eating them. But I'm not going to try and stop them on account of my emotional reactions.

For me it's mushroom. Personally I just move away from them and cover up my nose while trying to hold down the vomit. I find the smell disgusting.

The belief that being an atheist somehow means gaining insight and wisdom into matters of the human condition is an illusion.
Atheists believe all sorts of garbage and bullshit...they just happen to do so godlessly.

This is very true, but when you leave a religion you lose so many things that are morally wrong just because they're sins and they're sins just because the bible says so. It can be very confusing at first. Trying to figure out what things are actually wrong and what things don't make sense to be considered wrong outside of the religious context.

^^^agree, it was almost a month before I realized I could experience masturbation without guilt, that was a weird/new experience. (hope that's not too personal for y'all)

Mathilda: How funny! I also find mushrooms disgusting. Slimy, horrible, ergh! Can't be doing with it. They would make me sick too if I tried to eat them.

Rational: No that's cool friend, we're very open here. I am happy for you Smile It really pisses me off that religion manages to make people feel guilty about things that harm absolutely no one. I'm glad you're pulling yourself out from under it's demented thumb.

Yuck! Given the choice between eating Brussels sprouts and having gay sex, I think I know where I stand. That stuff is inedible.

Hahaha. You're obviously new here Smile

No, but seriously, there is a whole lot of people here who have had (and shared) similar experiences of overcoming years of religion-induced guilt about their sexuality. I'm fortunately not one of them.
