Even when they say "Yes" in public? Your logic sucks.

Ok so the next time a male or female goes to a bar we should all assume that nobody at that bar wants to have a conversation.....got it. And we should all assume that any contact is automatically looking for sex. Thanks for the advise. I am not a teen. Been there done that, now back then if you wanted to accuse me of sending/receiving mixed signals, I was stupid back then. I am 49. I don't let my hormones rule me. And if you go back and read the OP I made it clear OUTSIDE the PM I was not interested in dating.

NOW get off this harassment bullshit, this isn't even about male vs female, or sex at all. This is about SCAMMERS, TROLLS, FAKE ACCOUNTS.......A lagit person would have stayed.

Hey brian... yknow what this thread reminds me of? How awful I used to think ABBA was...

But see, then I got to thinking... maybe the problem wasn't ABBA... maybe the problem was the lack of good ABBA remixes. So... I looked really really hard, trying to justify ABBA's existence in this world...

And I finally stuck ABBA gold.

Cheers mate Smile Your band isn't literally worse than Hitler... anymore. Now, it is only just as bad as your attempts at backtracking in this thread have been.

...

Just because it's your thread... don't mean it ain't too "lagit" to quit.

What exactly am I "backtracking".........Other people's lack of understanding does not put me at stalker status. I smoked out a scammer. If that person was lagit, they would simply would have been another atheist and a mere friend to talk to.

OK, I'm confused... Are you the live sperm, or the live egg in this mind-bogglingly out-of-the-blue "analogy"? Tongue

But seriously - if the whole point of this whole anecdote of yours was that we shouldn't give out personal information to random strangers, who didn't ask for it, well then - thanks, I guess, but I don't think that's really an issue. I mean - I was going to PM my credit card number and billing information to the next few people to join this forum, but I thought better of it. Now I'm just going to PM unsolicited dick-pics... Smile

Ok maybe not you, but others here tried to imply that because I was talking about a first post being the picture of an attractive women, and that I asked that person, who said YES in public, that I chased her off. If nobody's argument is about harassment, why are you dragging such a stupid argument out?

It is a common tactic by scammers to post pictures that are not them. Even without male vs female involved, others create fake profiles to paint themselves as doctors or military,,,,,,ect ect ect.....even if it is just to get attention. In this case it would not have shocked me if it had been some fat guy in Nigeria. Thats all. Stop making this out to be something it is not.

Grow up.

See stories of scammers, be they on line, or e-mail, phone, not just on social media. There was a phone scam a while ago people pretending to be IRS agents threatening people with arrest. Even the mail you get in your snail male box in front of your house can be a scam. And very smart people who think they are educated can and do get scammed.

That was the only reason I posted this. Wall Street scammed the entire country. This isn't about a woman, this is about one type of tactic humans use to try to get you to part with personal info. Lagit people dont do it like that.

Usage as returning through the same course you came through in attempt to find your way. Backtracking (the term) is usually used in this context as a 'policy reversing' form... but ultimately that's actually really kinda, well, incorrect. So yeah... you go back to the point at which you feel you had a point, and try to negotiate (guided interpretation) your data and what you originally said to mean what you feel you originally intended it to mean. Backtracking. The traditional usage that, I will admit, may have become archaic in this context.

Oddly, every time you post, you try to lay down groundwork behind what you said.. and every time you you do this, you fail utterly at making your post any less, frankly, creepy. Which is antithetical to your intent... therefore: you back up again, pull things from behind that... and unfortunately: it's even freakier.

This is ineffective backtracking. You're trying to get back behind things you said to make them out to be interpreted as you intended to... and continue to fail to negotiate others' interpretations along the lines you feel that you mean to intend.

...

Ultimately, the problem you're having arises from your asserted claim that <given person> was a scammer, based on the data you observed to be of evidential importance, in that, unfortunately for your case: is hardly conclusive evidence for your peers, and indeed occam's razor would have it that you simply freaked someone out, which, you would do very well to notice... is the very same reaction *every person who has commented in this thread has exhibited* after reading your posts on this subject...

And further: every single post you make on this issue appears to only make that reaction in ALL your peers all the more discernible.

By the way, are you unaware that it is exactly other people's opinions that do give you a 'stalker status'?

I feel that you should, at this juncture, be made aware of that societal fact. In other news: here's another wonderful ABBA remix!
