Is it broadbushing to point out that every Muslim reveres a murderous lunatic (as Muhammad clearly was) and a particularly xenophobic and misogynistic text, and that the Islamic doctrines of jihad and martyrdom pose a unique problem at this moment in history, when the aforementioned charlatan and his writings seem to inspire terrorist attacks on the daily?

Should we just ban everyone?

The first thing we have to do is throw away this PC bullshit.
Great, let's.

The funniest part is that I didn't even know what political correctness was until I was accused of willingly and purposely doing it on this forum a couple months ago.

And after learning what it means, I still really don't give a shit. It's still just an empty phrase used to avoid expressing what one really thinks.
Drich Wrote:two you must actually make an effort to understand the basics of Islam. The primary thing you need to know it is meant to take over the world by hook or by crook. (by gimmick/lie or by force.) All you have to do is objectively and honestly read the koran, everything is spelled out on page. Their is no ultimate live and let live anywhere in their belief system, their is no assimilation into a host's country's culture. those who have adopted this live and let live are either biding their time (as per what their religion teaches) or they are luke warm in their beliefs. (like a non practicing catholic or Jew)
Oh just like you objectively read the bible?

The problem is that if you objectively read the bible you would be an atheist. So just like you hold biases about the good in your religion, so do muslims.

Also the fact that you think there is only one interpretation of Islam shocks me. Do you believe in "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth"? Do you believe in stoning your neighbor for working on the sabbath? No? You don't take your entire book literally? Then how are you making an assumption that ALL Muslims can't do the same. Just like you can, Muslims can pick and choose what they believe. There are plenty of things in the Koran promoting peace, and many Muslims hold those sections with higher importance than the ones preaching hate, same as you do.

Drich Wrote:Problem.. you can't ever truly make that determination. It is on a personal individual level, and again because their religion mandates that they lie about this very thing to outsiders so as not to be persecuted, we can never know.
Are you really that fucking stupid that you think all Muslims are in with each other under this conspiracy to lie about truly believing that outsiders should be persecuted?
What about them NOT ACTUALLY FUCKING BELIEVING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU OVERGENERALIZING IGNORANT FUCKING MORON.
Drich Wrote:Now that said take the same race/country person out of Islam and place them in Christianity, they become an open book.

So then why not stop bringing in Muslims from those regions and bring in Christians from those very regions who have been mandated to assimilate into the various cultures? Over 1 million Christians are being held in camps outside of Syria and not welcome anywhere in that region because of their faith, but we don't want fate to befall muslims.. Why not? Oh, that's right it's not PC. 'we' want to help people, just so long as they are not Christian.
Don't know what any of that even fucking means.

You're saying that MODERN WESTERN CULTURE would rather accept MUSLIMS OVER CHRISTIANS?
You've got to be out of your god damn fucken mind buddy.

Do I care who it is?
No. We should accept all people.

I'm PC for believing we shouldn't discriminate because of religion, of course. What the fuck am I not "PC" for now adays.

PC used to mean you were trying to appease popular consensus and general "moral" standards and opinions, for what was considered politically correct. Well tell me chuck, if almost everyone on this thread is disagreeing with my position then who the fuck am I trying to appease?

I haven't watched the video, but I can honestly say that if you think that a single video can "explain it all" that's proof enough that you are either ignorant on the actual issue, or have bought in to and believed in one side of the argument before hearing the other.

Don't make the mistake of thinking this is a "Simple issue" that can be explained with a "Simple answer" by any means. Doesn't matter what it is, you have to be categorically stupid to think that a single video can decide the fate of 1.6 billion Mulsims.

Well you should watch the video. Perhaps it will explain some things that you took for granted to actually be lies, and if you are basing something based on false assumptions, it would be better to learn what the actual likelihood of something happening vs what you think would happen could be important.

I saw this video a while ago, but it's only the tip of the iceberg. Europe will find out soon enough.

Watched the whole video, opinion stands.

Even if 50% of Muslims have radical beliefs(as stated at the end of the video) I STILL cannot justify banning 100%.

Even if it only took 1% to set off a nuclear weapon to destroy you? I agree, we shouldn't just have a blanket ban, but shouldn't you have some caution, or do you just not care about your life and other around you?

I care about the other life around me thats WHY i dont want to ban innocent muslims from the country.

North Korea has Nuclear weapons and are ruled by a crazy unpredictable dictator. Does that mean we should go nuke the shit outta north korea? No, we set sanctions in place.

I understand that this is a bit of an unfair example but the point is that there are bad people in the world, and they do bad things. That doesnt mean or justify prosecuting anyone who could potentially be a bad person, as if they are a bad person, or will do a bad thing. Essentially what a majority of people on this thread want to do is implement a 'guilty until proven innocent' policy for Muslims in specific. I cannot accept this policy on both a legal level, and a moral level. So call me PC for sticking up for what I think is right, I couldnt care less, because sticking up for what is the right thing to do is never a worthless effort.
