I'm wondering how the fuck did an apparently "lone" gunman manage to storm a nightclub full of people?
Like surely wouldn't everyone just pounce on him or sneak up behind him and smash a bottle over his head or something? Something seems off to me. This doesn't seem like something a lone gunman could pull off, at least without low key help.

BULLSHIT, this is the same fallacy religion uses "not all", There is a tiny minority including the lobby NRA itself that is holding the entire nation hostage. The fear marketing by the NRA is allowing a few to prevent any pragmatic laws in place. There most certainly are just enough "they're gonna take away all the guns". They have been selling that bullshit fear for decades, the GOP and NRA said the same thing about Obama and they are pulling the same bullshit with Hillary. Apparently he corralled people really quick. There isn't a back way out. If he killed 50, then he was spraying from the get go.
In a close confined space like that, he could do a lot of damage really quickly. Fuck I don't want to even think about it.

Reagan and Brady getting shot was about the only time in 40 years that the GOP was even slightly pragmatic, but even after all that future GOP gutted it. It is fucking sick that you can even shoot a president and not get any pragmatic laws to stick to prevent any type of gun death!

This was a tweet by Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick this morning. I am truly ashamed to be the same species.
