Disciplined? For something everyone else would get the book thrown at them?

It -was- an accident...until that inevitable point in which he manufactured a police report giving himself reason for shooting the man after letting him bleed out a little. Then, it was criminal misconduct, falsifying a police report, and assault with a deadly weapon.
Except..ofc, he's a cop. Get down-Good guy Bang bang-still a good guy I don't know-still...a good guy ...and then......

IDK, I think we should hold the agents of state to a higher standard, like we pretend to....rather than no standard...like we actually do, or the same standard that we hold "any other" to..which obviously doesn't exist... judging by the number of black kids getting gunned down. The way that we discuss this sancrosanct issue of policing and the proper use of authority, sometimes...seems to be fantasy from the bottom to the top.

Do you have information not in the reports given, or is this just your overactive imagination filling in the blanks??? A lot of my conversations with you are starting to make a lot more sense now. What do you think he was doing, checking his emails?

As I said, I think that from the description, and what the guy said the cops response to the question of "why did you shoot me?" that it was an accident. That doesn't justify it, or mean that he shouldn't be brought up charges, but that it should be treated as an accidental shooting. I would be curious to see the investigation report, and a follow up story. RE: How to end police shootings in one easy step.
