I mean anyone who looks like they're even remotely from Pakistan gets called a "Paki" even when they're from all sorts of different nearby countries.

For a majority, in fact a very large majority of Pakistani men in the United Kingdom wear their own clothes including headgear. Secondly, those who are capable of growing a beard at puberty are not allowed to shave. The women wear traditional clothing too and wear trousers to stop showing their ankles. Same with a Sikh, who wear traditional turbans, and have a bracelet on their wrist, or married women with their bindis to show the other men that she is not available.
