It's just that if you ask a lot of white people here in America if there is racism against blacks, they'll say pretty much the same thing.

It's much worse than that where I live. I've heard on several occasions white people say, "Racism doesn't exist anymore except for when people talk about it."

There's definitely less racism towards blacks here in the UK than in America. I think the worst racism by far in the UK is towards Hispanic people who all get labelled as "Pakis" by racists.

However there's still more racism towards blacks than whites.

For a majority, in fact a very large majority of Pakistani men in the United Kingdom wear their own clothes including headgear. Secondly, those who are capable of growing a beard at puberty are not allowed to shave. The women wear traditional clothing too and wear trousers to stop showing their ankles. Same with a Sikh, who wear traditional turbans, and have a bracelet on their wrist, or married women with their bindis to show the other men that she is not available.
