The idea of blitzkrieg works. Like i said, if they invaded ukraine, Nato would send in troops. So why bother getting bogged down because you stopped there, and instead put some tried and tested tactics to work, and catch NATO off-guard.
*Disclaimer* I don't actually think this is gonna happen, but from a strategic point of view, it'd make sense to do the above if they were going to do it.

But as you say, it's not gonna happen. Putin isn't that stupid and I doubt anyone wants to start WWIII over a shithole like Ukraine.

If he's going to do something like that, Ukraine isn't his end goal, europe as a whole is. And depending on the speed of his forces, it is entirely possible they could pull it off relatively successfully.

Can a single person be that uninformed, to put it mildly? Have you any idea how strong the conventional Russian army actually is? Have you any idea how many people actually live in Russia? It was 143,5 millions in 2013. Have you any idea how large Russia actually is and how that translates into population density? Have you any idea how populated Europe actually is? Have you any figures on how strong the conventional European armies are?
Got another thing to pull from your ass?

I am not sure you entirely understand why the Russians would be the first ones to clearly perceive that blitzkrieg won't work.

I think everybody seemed to ignore half of what i said. Troop numbers count for less if they were to step in and catch some militaries off guard, effectively stopping their response.
Example being when they went into crimea and nobody in the military bases there did anything because the russians were literally standing outside their door by the time they heard about anything happening.
And regardless, at this point we're arguing over something i've even said is unlikely to happen so it's pretty pointless

Worked on western europe pretty solidly. Just because the Russians managed to beat it, doesn't mean they don't see it's strengths.
The only reasons it didn't work in Russia was due to A) crappy supply lines and B), unlike every other country, Russia chucked everybody they had at them, instead of surrendering. Chuck enough bodies under a tank's tracks and eventually it is gonna get stuck,

Yeah, that's the usual narrative. It helped that their tank design was fucking visionary, too (since you mentioned tanks). The 34 and IS were monstrous. German armor didn't stand a chance (a fact which was immediately realized by german tank commanders and generals).

WW2 armies didnt have tactical nukes. People sincerely hate each other, we always have been killing each other. But how you can you start a massive war when there are chemical, biological and nuclear WMDs?
