That's probably how a person comes to understand what it's like being someone else, just to answer the question in the same post. In the same vein, it also explains how me might similarly understand that not everyuthing that bothers the other™ is a thing..as not everything that bothers me is actually a thing.

Calling someone honey is not sexist.
Saying a woman can't go to school is sexist.
Saying a woman "asked for it" is sexist.
Sweet and subtle compliments on your appearance is not sexist.

This song isn't very good imho. If this was supposed to be talking about feminism, I didn't hear it. The lyrics reminded me of the classic hits that very obviously inspired it (these boots are made for walkin'), so it wasn't saying anything important. I really didn't like the sound, either.

Like every good man who respects women. But you don't see any 2nd wave feminism here. Just maybe some 3rd wave feminism but I can't know till I ask her.

In the UK at least there very much is. The factors that affect this are multiple and nuanced, but mostly it appears to be caused by women leaving full time work to raise children, and upon returning being a few years behind their male counterparts doing similar work. Maybe she wanted to warn other creeps to not fuck with her, but irl it doesn't happen that much.

GG, yeah I am and it does seem to be fair so... Why not tell ya.
But it's not just that I think men cat call that much.
It's that and a few other videos I saw that happened to have hour long gaps between each catcall.

It's just that those minority of men do it to the majority of women.

Most men really wouldn't see the catcalling so much when they aren't the targets of it. I doubt that any of the men here are that kind of guy, but that also means it's that much less visible to them. Personally, I've seen this from both perspectives. It definitely becomes much more obvious from the female side of things.
