They can not exist in two places at the same time.
Not only physically.
Mentally as well.
When someone fill his-her mind with materialistic stuff he-she will find very very difficult to concentrate on something totally different such as spirituality.
For God the creation is a mental projection.
There is a force that lead low forms of life up but when plants and animals reach the human forms the push
come to an end and free will take over.
With the free will it is YOU that will decide where to go.
If you choose the materialistic way of life God will let you play as much as you like in this situation.
It will be up to you to decide what to do.
He will not show him-herself.
He will not show you how the whole system works unless you will start to desire him.
In other words to be open to any evidence means absolutely nothing to him.
Without the desire to know him it will all be futile.
You will never know him-her.  Lightbulb

That had nothing to do with anything. Did you just wake up?

Are you confused?

You are the one who said..........  I'd be open to any evidence that I could learn from.........

and I reply to you that in case of God to be open to any evidence means absolutely nothing unless you have the desire to know him.

If this answer has nothing to do with anything then you got a problem.  Wink

I'm open to evidence. You provided me with a splattering of random words instead. So what's your favorite flavor of salad dressing?

I don't believe you. Get over it.

Why, does god hide until he's super sure we're totally into him?

I'd be interested to know one single practical use of all this NDE business, God, whatever. What's the point? Apart from claiming to have knowledge, which is in itself of no use either.

If it has no use, why should I care about it?

Who said that the desire to know God should be super big?
Even a drop is enough as far as you don't put materialism as a priority and God as second last.  Lightbulb

A lot of guessing Roberto.
Knowledge can lead to progress if used properly.  Lightbulb

It's hard for me to see this thread title without reading it as "Howard Stern".

I don't even think I would become convinced of an afterlife if I "visited" such a place in my own NDE or had an out of body experience.  It would be hard for me to trust my own brain that much.  I'd probably just be like, "Man, I just had the weirdest lucid dream/hallucination.  My brain was doing some pretty crazy shit."

I've noticed that Christians who share NDE stories on social media love to talk about how different people's claims tend to corroborate so well.
Well, of course they do.  These people were all exposed to the same narratives.

Why don't I hear more about Hindu or Muslim NDEs?  Is it because those claims have less basis in reality?  No, it's because I live in America and speak English.  Rolleyes
If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

Why am I on the hook for the desires of your ridiculous fairies all of a sudden?  If it wants something, it can do the work itself, not bitch and moan about the effort I don't make...because, and Rik this is important........

...no fucks are given, from me, for such an insecure piece of divine trash.

You see, I have requirements, standards....a minimum bar. The tiny little godling that you're describing doesn't interest me. It sounds, to me, like an expression of one peice of the smallest parts of human nature...and even -humans- are better than the smallest parts of their own strangeness (though, admittedly, some people make me doubt that, sometimes............). Now, I understand, I do, that you believe this. That it appeals to you. That god wants to be in my life, it just needs some small token...but.....all I hear, when you tell me that....is this. At least Mr. Anthony put his product up there for inspection. If I'm being asked to select a lonely narcissist to share my life with......

Still waiting for why I should care...

That should be my signature since it applies to almost every religious/woo thread I read.

Put in this way Roberto.

A rat feel at home in the sewer.
A fish feel at home in the water.
A human feel at home on land but none knows that outside their own small world exist a better place.

If you put a rat in the water it will die and if you put a fish in the sewer it will also die.
It takes time for a rat to be able to live in the water and for a fish to live on land.
We know that after many generations it is all possible.
We have water rats and we have us humans that billions years ago came out the water.

At the same time humans are quite capable to get out the physical dimension and enter the spiritual one
which is the highest of the highest but that take time and desire to achieve.

But after all who push you to get out the physical dimension?
If you enjoy so much by all means stay where you are.
You happy everybody happy.  Smile
