Ask a rookie dad

Oh wow. All we have is the FMLA and we don't get paid for that time.

She kicked you squarely in the sack yet?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

How do you lift the baby butt to get the new diaper under. I always felt that I'm doing that awkwardly.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I grab her by the feet, my hand can grab both, then put the diaper under. Diapers are easy these days. I also talk to her: "baby made a big poop for daddy? Yes she did. Daddy loves to clean her poo. Yes he does"

She smiles in the process. A naughty smile, she does.

My daughter seemed to be trying to make sure that she'd be the last of her kind from pretty much the moment she came into this world.   It was an eye opener for me, because I realized, through fatherhood, that girls are born with the innate drive to kick men in the nuts...whereas before I thought that this was something they learned.  My wife says that she kicked alot in the womb too.... probably aiming for my business, then, as well.

Just think of all the wonderful things you have to look forward to!

Do you like dubstep?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
