Tell me, what should I like about the ACA? Why should I care?

No tax break, Brewer?  Or is that WITH a tax break?  I HIGHLY recommend working with a local third party to get the best deal rather then trying to shop yourself.  I did this and it was extremely helpful. He pulled strings for us that I didn't know existed.  Because of that, we have a good plan through fidelis with a low deductible that covers RX (like $10.00 copay for generics) and MD visits.  Just a thought!

RE: Dear Sick People,
Your health insurance premiums are too high?

Fuck off.

Try living in a system where you can afford to pay, are willing to pay, but no one will sell it to you. I'll save you my story, but it happened to me and I ended up getting in a car accident. I had to walk out of the ER with a concussion, two separated shoulders, a torn rotator cuff, and a knee that swelled up to the size of a balloon.

Go fuck yourself and your whining about high premiums.

I hope the same goddamn thing happens to every fucking asshole who voted for Trump. I hope their kids get sick too. I hope they watch their loved ones get ill and live in pain and have their painful lifespans shortened.

If you crying about high premiums and don't want universal healthcare, then fuck you until you look like a fucked out asshole after an anal gang bang.

Some folks with an ideological bent against the ACA decided not to avail themselves of all the services offered...not to get the assistance of someone who knew what that was..and now they think that their predicament is somehow the fault of the ACA.  Not saying that's Brewer...just something I noticed.

The "I can't afford health insurance now!" crowd, for example.  If that were true, they'd qualify for subsidy.  If they don;t qualify for subsidy, it's not an issue of "can't pay"...it's an issue of "I'd rather not pay". Well ofc they;d rather not pay, we;d all rather not pay...we;d all like to live beyond our means and bitch about the evil healthcare plan that ruined our irresponsible spending fantasies. When I say "we" I mean you unlucky fuckers who don't have a free ride. I get to spend all my healthcare money on hookers and blow. Murica!

RE: Dear Sick People,
We were on a crappy $450/month premium plan earlier this year. $2000 deductible, but copays were affordable and prescriptions also. Only really expensive thing was when Shell had to go to hospital last year and even though the hospital bill was over $20k we only had to pay $6k which sure is a lot but at least the insurance paid for the rest.

Now we're on my employers plan that costs $340/month but has no deductible and cheaper copays / prescriptions.

RE: Dear Sick People,
The conservative answer to everything is: COMPETITION!

It's a magic bullet. Of course the problem is: It's not. Competition doesn't magically appear out of nowhere. For-profit companies have to do ONE THING to survive: PROFIT. Healthcare is a complicated system that is more than just deciding what to pay to doctors for their services. It takes networking to get favorable deals with doctors. Which is why the whole "allow people to purchase across state lines' stuff is stupid.

I don't blaspheme, cuss out Trump or GOP because I want to go on a vengeful killing spree. Sure, what Trump did to win was vile, and deserves impeachment and prison time, but that will not happen in reality, it is not worth a civil war. I would like to simply make him paranoid enough to pull a Nixon nobody can ignore.

Now outside that, even cussing out his voters, it isn't for me that I want revenge, but just to stick mirror to their faces as an act of cold water. I would not wish what they are about to do even on their own voters. I do hope however, when they do fuck everyone over, including their own that they remember and boot the fuckers out of office.

The GOP and Trump appeal to greed and revenge. In no way is that on my part to call for the end of all the private sector. But it has to be met with the strongest condemnation to prevent us backsliding into the days prior to the great depression.

No, now is NOT the time to be polite to Trump or the GOP, too much at stake for that right now, but I am also no fan of revenge.
