Michael Flynn, national security adviser, resigns over Russia contacts
http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/13/politics/m...index.html

Washington (CNN)Embattled White House national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday night.

His departure came just after reports surfaced the Justice Department warned the Trump administration last month that Flynn misled administration officials regarding his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States and was potentially vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

Accepting his resignation is then smartest damn thing the administration has done so far. Admittedly the bar has been set pretty low.

This is all the more reason to crawl up the bully's ass and impeach him. This cuts to the core of his horrible decision making alone, but I have no doubt if it were not for the obstruction of the GOP and they actually did the right thing and investigate, at a minimum, we should not be surprised to find the fingerprints of very bad decision making with his business dealings.

Just the fact that Trump has made statements over and over that he would eventually release his taxes and still has yet to do so even though the IRS has repeatedly said nothing is stopping him, and still drags his feet today, says AT A MINIMUM he is hiding a history of bad decision making. Trump has behaved like a bully his entire campaign and even after taking the oath.

Good luck with that, Brian. Have you checked the current makeup of the House recently?

He may deserve it, but it's not happening any time soon.

gonna have to field some good candidates and win some races in 2018

and that does seem to be dead last on the dems to do list

Maybe they know something we don't and we should follow their (un)lead ?
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Part of me wonders if the Republican party are running any polls behind the scenes to see how many people support "Trump" vs "Republicans". A vote to impeach isn't a vote against the Republican party, because Mike Pence becomes President.

If that were happening, why no leaks about it? This administration has been like a sieve.

Republican party, not the administration. I'm just speculating anyway. It's no secret that the Republican's don't really like Trump.

No they don't, but he does provide an excellent distraction while they do their thing. We're so busy watching the rat in the kitchen that the roaches in the pantry escape much notice.

True, but they have to be thinking how this reflects on them in the mid terms and next election.
