1. nope once again the end of the universe has nothing to do with atheism
2. Nowhere does theism imply there is no end to the universe
3. There is nothing absurd about the universe ending it's in fact very rational
4. The idea that someone doesn't control the universe nowhere implies and end to the universe nor that it's going to the dogs (whatever that means in terms of the universe)

Re #3: Yeah, a day ends. A winter ends. Planets and suns end. A galaxy can collapse on itself. So why not a universe? It is only the cosmos which is eternal, leastwise to pissants like we humans.

I'll pass on the immortality. At least then I know there's a day coming when I don't have to listen to Rik's "arguments" anymore.

I got bad news for you Fat.
Rik or not Rik there always will be somebody who will remind you that you are wrong.
It will not even be a human.
It will be your super conscious mind that will try to wake you up from that slumber that last millions of years since you exist in primordial form of existences.
Now I got a good news.
The day you will wake up then you will understand how the whole system works and how LR was correct.
So I'm immortal whether I like it or not. Sounds fun.

Off topic... but does anyone else read the title and think swords and bad Scottish accents?
