The KJV is as much God's word as anyother translation, we have better understanding of ancient Hebrew and Greek so the newer translations give us more exact wording. GC

It's interesting how all of that "better understanding" allows translators to identify and refine those portions of scripture which can be made to more closely conform to the current beliefs of whatever sectarian vision authorizes it, isn't it?
I guess that's just another mystery of faith, god working in the world type stuff.

Maybe constantly re-editing "god's word" keeps them busy enough to where they don't have time to sit back and see what an exercise in religious masturbation it is.
