I agree it can, but capitalism is worldwide friend and foe alike invest in the global market. But no sorry, as much as I hate greed I don't ever see a utopia where you'd rid 7 billion humans of the private sector. 

I think we can however and should get back to breaking up monopolies and stop allowing 1% write all our laws for us.

Interesting enough, the latest episode of Doctor Who dealt with the horrors of capitalism.

It's a shame that, of all the alternatives, capitalism still somehow manages to be the least dysfunctional economics system, at least when regulated properly.

With recent Presidential elections, around half of the voting citizenry feels ashamed for the other half.  It was so for me when my fellow citizens went ga-ga over Obama and then were oblivious enough to support Clinton.

Actually....it has probably been that way for a couple of centuries or more...
