No it's still embarrassing for the field of computer science if your in it

These statements also implied that he didn't know that the Big Bang is considered a singularity by many cosmologists. In fact, it's called big bang singularity or initial singularity. How the fuck would a trained physicist not know that? It's one thing to say, "Yes, some cosmologists believe the big bang was a singularity" but his statement was more in the lines of "singularity at the big bang? what do you mean?"

Are you really this stupid? Not only did Alex demonstrate he knows what Black Holes are, he described in some detail what that means, why people use the term, and asked you what YOU meant when you used the term. Instead of just answering the question you basically kept saying, "Lots of scientists said it, so I must be right! Alex doesn't tell me how super-right I am, so he must not know what he's talking about!"

So much fail in the way you've interacted with him. What you SHOULD do is beg him to share some of his very real knowledge of physics with you. You might learn that "singularity" isn't just a sound bite, but actually has mathematical, physical, and possibly even philosophical meaning that you didn't know about.

bold mine

I've seen no evidence of that, can you supply evidence?

Side note: You seem to be such an angry angry person. Your time here appears to be some kind of over compensation from some perceived wrong or injustice you have suffered. I wonder what that could be? Not loved by parents enough, no social interactions except the web, ostracized by your community, girls run in terror, can't get laid, small dick, chronic victim of your own behavior, shut in.......? It's got to be something, care to tell us what it is?

What are you actually angry about?

Why are you so emotionally insecure?

Do you have thoughts of persecution and this behavior is your defense?

Do you always lash out at people who do not accept your grandiose behavior?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Don't be silly and stop simply restating that "scientific evidence points to a cosmic beginning" and be more concrete.

Do you not know what a singularity is?

The big bang is a point of infinite mass, heat, and space-time curvature. It's a singularity.

"At this time, the Big Bang, all the matter in the universe, would have been on top of itself. The density would have been infinite. It would have been what is called, a singularity. At a singularity, all the laws of physics would have broken down. This means that the state of the universe, after the Big Bang, will not depend on anything that may have happened before, because the deterministic laws that govern the universe will break down in the Big Bang. The universe will evolve from the Big Bang, completely independently of what it was like before. Even the amount of matter in the universe, can be different to what it was before the Big Bang, as the Law of Conservation of Matter, will break down at the Big Bang." -- Stephen Hawking

In other words, you don't know what you're talking about. You're another know-nothing pseudo-intellectual. And what do you mean stop saying scientific evidence points to a cosmic beginning? You obviously don't read scientific literature. You didn't even know what a singularity is; and you thought the big bang being a singularity contradicts the statement that the big bang breaks down in terms of classic physics.

A classic example (my bolded) of everything you're saying bouncing off him and sticking to you like glue.

Learning what most of the menu options do in Excel doesn't make you a computer scientist, binky.  I think if you were a computer scientist, you would know that only a college student would think those words need to be capitalized. I know that these forums have at least three professional programmers, and I'd just love for you to tell us what a computer genius you are, in addition to sharing your immense knowledge of physics.

Being a Computer Scientist is irrelevant to the topic of big bang singularity, and I'm not using my title to escape arguments.

On the other hand, Alex and his friends have repeatedly claimed that he's a physicist, as though I should just roll over and forget that I owned him. If one is going to use their science credentials as a way to whitewash a scientific illiterate statement that they had made, then they better have some evidence of those credentials.

If we were having a discussion about algorithms and data structures, and then I said something that revealed that I didn't know what I was talking about, and you called me out on it, wouldn't you be suspicious if I stomped my feet, called you a troll, proclaimed that I was a Computer Scientist, and then told you to pipe down? What would you think if after asking for evidence of said credentials, a deluge of retards came on to the scene and started bleating "He's a Computer Scientist! He's a Computer Scientist! He's a Computer Scientist!" What would you think and do? Wouldn't it be even weirder if this took place in a community that thought of themselves as skeptics and people who do not believe without evidence?

A very angry person indeed. So aggressive and eager to put down and discredit others, very unpleasant. A bit of a pathological narcissist maybe, that would explain the extreme and obsessive reaction. Let it go, man.
