Good for you, I still would argue you don't need a god at all, but this certainly is progress. If you hold the position that the God of the bible is real and Jesus is the son of that God, it does not matter if you are a conservative Baptist, liberal Baptist, Protestant, Mormon, Amish ect ect, all of you still share the same core heros and same book.
Now to be fair, I don't like it when atheist pull this crap either, but we do. You also have atheists who will say, "no atheist would". With atheist though, the only thing we have in common is "off" and that is it. Outside that we differ as well in our political views, economic views and classes.
I am an atheist, but so was Ayn Rand who, if alive today would either vote Libertarian or GOP of which neither I like. I know other atheists who value Che, the asshole who lead to Castro's Cuba, and I don't like him either. I know atheists whom worship firearms on par with the far right Christians and others who want to ban them all, and again, I am no fan of either of those positions.
Just like most of the west, both left and right would agree that both Sunni and Shiite share the same core heros and same core book.
Point being, how we as individuals wish another individual whom shares the same label would behave, does not change the thoughts in their head.

Really you do? I mean there are some real stinkers out there like KKK, but OK I do get if you don't consider them real Christians; but still what about Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Snake handling churches in Appalachia or even J.K. Rowlingsesque Church of the Potter Christ? They're all Christians, he?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I am not interested in the different denominations. It's like weighing different lumps of dogshit. It's all shitty, not interested.

I wouldn't say all religious people in the world as individuals are "dogshit", but sure, when it comes to claims of the super natural and invisible sky heros, the logic certainly isn't there.
In that context, I would agree, I am not interested in any sect of any religion in the world.
They are all merely artificial constructs humans invent and mostly get handed down to the youth the person is born under that nation and label.

It's getting VERY difficult for me to consider folks falling for the Apostle Paul apostasy to be Christian.
It just boils down to folks either belonging to the religion OF Jesus, or belonging to a religion ABOUT Jesus. There's a helluva difference, obviously. Yet we see literally NO angst from the religious folks about the compelling evidence they ARE NOT DOING IT RIGHT.

I don't understand the black-and-white thinking of either fundamentalist/cults that think theirs is the only true religion and non-believers that think every slight doctrinal difference represents an completely different religion (the cliche about 30,000 denominations). I think most reasonable people are able to see the difference between central issues, like the Resurrection, and peripheral ones, like believer baptism.
I really don't know the exact positions of various Christian members. It doesn't seem like the Reformed tradition is well represented. I think most of the more prominent members fall within the mainstream although I'm sure we represent the most common doctrinal differences or haven't taken firm positions. For example, I'm indifferent about annihilationism/universalism/eternal conscious torment (I lean towards ECT but think there is a very good Scriptural case for annihilation). Otherwise, I feel I have the least orthodox leanings. Perhaps because my path to the Christian faith has been more from the personal mystic direction, informed by philosophy, and less from that of any catechism or participation in a religious community.
The biggest difference is most likely how literal to take the biblical narrative with respect to topical issues like evolution/intelligent design/creationism. However, I'm pretty sure just about all of us, myself included are pro-Life, traditional marriage advocates. I haven't seen any liberal theology proponents. Just speculating, but I get the sense that people with liberal theologies are more attached to their political leanings than their religious convictions
I guess its not much different from politics with the extreme ends of the major parties demanding various litmus tests for ideological purity.

Then what was the point of foisting yet another schism on Christendom if the only point of dispute was a 'slight doctrinal difference' ??

A central issue like the resurrection, by the way is an interesting item to bring up.
Was Jesus crucified on Maundy Thursday or Good Friday ??
Was Jesus secured to the cross with 3 nails or 4 ??
Not getting the details correct on the lead up to the resurrection would directly impinge on ones possibility of Salvation.
Might be worth a schism if your denomination is fucking up on this.

I do agree that's extremely retarded. Lol.
Like um... if you're a follower of Jesus, you're Christian.
