Good question Kem.
Fade away doesn't necessary mean to be destroyed.
Take something that you put away maybe in the store room.
After sometime the dust will cover it and if you look at it the image is not as clear as if would be kept away from the dust.
It is fading away as the dust cover it up but the object is still there.
If you clean it up his image will be restored.
Or take the sun.
When the clouds prevent us to see the sun you can hardly see it but as soon as the clouds go away then the sun will show again.
The sun doesn't die just because you can not see it.
It is only the fact that something prevent us to see it.
In other words no consciousness can be killed.
At the same time the consciousness can not be felt in some cases or can be felt even more in other cases.
Got it? IDK, it sounds like you're coming up with ad hoc rationalizations as to why your contradictory statements are both simultaneously true. If It were me, I'd have picked one or the other and just said "yeah, my bad, I guess they don't both make sense".
Is my consciousness like a jar, or the sun? Both of those things -can- be destroyed. Neither is being destroyed or even fading away when covered by dust or obstructed by clouds. If my consciousness fades away to the point of not being "able to see it" in what way am I conscious, in what way does it still exist?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Ok, let's take it that "no consciousness can be killed". Are consciousnesses (!) continuingly created, for each new creature born? Or given the reincarnation angle, is it more like a pool of consciousness that's portioned out every time?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

It is a pity that you are still stuck in so many dogmas Cyb.
If the creation would have a starting point it also would have a finishing point and at one stage the universe would finish and exist no more but it doesn't.
It has been there for ever and will be there for ever.
The creator never born so He also will never die.
The time is an illusion.
It is in the mind of someone who doesn't yet understand how the whole system works.
As soon as you realize that you never born you also realize that you will never die because you are the creator itself.
Illusions are a creator play.
As soon as you are tired to be part of this playing then spirituality is there to help you out and realize who you really are but the playing of creating more illusions and consciousness will continue for ever.
A drop of water that enter the ocean become the ocean itself.
This ocean however will let a continuous evaporation so new water will continue the cycle of leaving the ocean and at the end come back.
The process is endless but it will not affect you that already completed your cycle by realizing who you really are.

Was that a yes?
It was a simple enough question, surely? You don't have to be such a dick all the time.

Matter is made out of consciousness but it take the form of matter because the consciousness in her is at the beginning of the creation cycle and therefore (she) can not yet be aware that she is pure consciousness.
Evolution of the consciousness is what drive matter to turn into plants.
Plants into animals, animals into humans and humans into God which is the starting and finishing point of this cycle.
Changes into different form of lives take place because consciousness doesn't wish to be restricted into lower form of lives.
She only wish to go back to her real form (God).
Matter is matter just because she is not conscious of her real form.
The awakening of this awareness is called evolution.
This is the real evolution.
Darwin and other studied only changes into form of existence without even bother that it is the awakening of consciousness that turn one form of existence into a more developed one.

I can't believe I just read this, twice actually. It's not even trolling, it's just plain old piss taking. Its condensed and filtered, compressed, superheated and crystallized arse gravy.

So, you're clearly not a botanist....
Quote:Plants into animals, animals into humans and humans into God which is the starting and finishing point of this cycle.
....or a zoologist.....

...or an evolutionary biologist.

Not much of a theosophist, either, come to think of it.

Okay? So, which one of your statements regarding the indestructibility of consciousness was true, again?
