-and the study of what happens in it.  The very moment that the "supernatural" world presents itself in the natural world...as every adherent of every religion insists has happened so very many times...they are no longer separate.

This, assuming, that they're both fields at all, rather than one being the rationalizations for your silly beliefs.

The trouble is they always want it both ways. Natural stuff that seems improbable is evidence. Stuff that is not natural and is un-evidenced is evidence for god. Supernatural un-evidenced stuff is evidence of god. Supernatural is immaterial and therefore evidence for god. Quantum is no classically natural therefore evidence for god. Miracles are apart from nature without proof, but evidence of god. Miracles are a part of nature, therefore evidence of god. Something is not completely understood currently, evidence of god. Something is poorly understood, evidence of god. Lots of people believe, evidence of god. God is a mystery, evidence of god.

Theists jump through hoops, when the god of everything could convince us all in a trice that she exists.

But, as always, it's our fault...
