They told me to stop reading atheistic books. Never I have heard that from atheists, namely, that an atheist should stopping reading Christian apologetic books!!

All that crap you wrote that I deleted from this post will not intimidate me in the least, I'm a biblically educated Christian that knows what's what in the life of a Christian, you are a non-believer that know nothing other than to parrot what others have said, you haven't the fortitude to study the Bible for the truth.

You come across as someone who has been brainwashed. I want you to know that 30 years ago I acted and sounded just like you, but I got over it. I hope that you do as well.
I argue GC comes across as a total, complete and perfect moron.
Possible a poe.

The theory of evolution is testable. It has been tested and found to be correct.
Also, mutations increase the information content.

Now, now . . . we all know GC is an expert on information theory, in addition to biology. 'Cause croco-ducks or something.

Yes sorry you're right. Damn it. I really should stop running my genetic algorithms that put this theory into practice but they're just so damn useful that I can't help myself.

Typical atheist answer.
Yes, the correct answer.
So, when Christianity was in its infancy, and believers in the Roman gods were the majority, by your [ahem] 'logic', they were smarter than Christians.
In the future, if things keep going the way they are, by 2070 Islam will overtake Christianity as the largest religion in the world. Will that make Muslims smarter than Christians?
After all, you are claiming the because there are more Christians than atheists, that fact alone makes Christians smarter. So, your 'logic' leads to the conclusion that when Muslims are the majority, they will be smarter than Christians.
See where your logical fallacy of argument ad populum leads?
While you are reading all those flawed Christian apologetics books, lying creationist websites, and the Bible, you should toss in a book or two on basic logic.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I suppose you've revealed this many times, but somehow it escaped me. What is your line of work?

Computer scientist. I research artificial intelligence. Although in my current job I am working as a software engineer but I continue writing papers in my spare time. My academic background includes evolutionary algorithms, biologically plausible neural networks, self organising systems and artificial emotions.

It is when I get a chance to do it. I'm never happier than just spending all day on my own research, especially when I start getting results. My personal happiness is unhealthily tied to how successful my experiments are!
