Back from a lengthy visit to the urgent care facility. Three hours for some tests, of which the radiologist never did give his assessment of my x-ray pics. But the caring physician compared that to my old pics, and didn't see a difference from 2 years ago. Heartburn with reflux all the way into my mouth last night, and hideous chest pain today. It still hurts to take a deep breath.   Given my family history of 1/10 male ancestors living past 58 (and I'm 65), I expected the worst. Wasn't having a heart attack, but no real results, beyond no indication of heart attack or stroke/embolism in the blood samples.  Follow up tests in a couple of weeks.

Earth-shattering shit. Microsoft did an update just before I went back on the internet, when I got home. I have to ask- does an update actually have to hose even shit like font size and mouse cursor size? What do we pay all those asshats for? That shit is easy. I have all this 8-point shit to look at, and I'm an old man.

I'm watching the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Blink of an Eye".

Yeah, I worry about that too with my nut allergy. I always keep an Eppi pen with me for emergencies.

I stopped carrying that thing in 9th grade. Didn't really see the need. You know what, I still don't. I only made the mistake this time because I had a NUT-FREE menu, and the menu the food came with told me it was CHOCOLATE CHIP. Like come on now. I'll sue this tiny ass rural hospital I swears it.

Getting ready to go to the safari park.

Woke up for a drink of water, only to find that one of my dogs had diarrhea in the living room. After cleaning that up and taking them both outside for a short stroll (just to make sure everything was out), I'm now wide awake at an ungodly time.

So much for that set-your-clock-back extra hour's sleep.

Watching football! What else would I be doing on a Sunday?
