That is why Quran doesn't say "ALL" would have followed Iblis without revelation and guidance from him, but only a few would not have.
Revelation is not to say finding the light and door and guidance is impossible without revelation, it is just saying it is so highly improbable for most of us because of the corruption and the weakness on our part.
Quran is about clarifying what it means to be human. That is one way of looking at it. In that lies knowledge of God, the path, etc...

You're right; if your God was a human slaver.
What you describe, is when humans play God, and enslave other humans. Which is not allowed.
Slavery to God is life itself.

Which is an amusing bit of fine print, since perfect contrition requires absolute hatred of sin...but ofc "sin" is defined by the RCC...so, they're unlikely to perfectly hate all the "sinful" shit the RCC describes as such......what with not being catholic and all.
I, personally, think that the unofficial (but officially entertained) idea of "vicarious baptism by desire" - in which those who..by the rules, should go to hell, might not...provided that the parents really -wanted- to have their little darling baptized...is an even neater trick. Apparently, there's nothing worth doing that can't be done by someone else on your behalf.
Then, ofc, there's the caveat that salvation only comes through christ, is limited to christ...but christ is not limited to that act in bestowing grace. He can save any sinner he wants to.
Makes you wonder why they came up with rules in the first place, what with there being a loophole for every single one of them. It;s almost as if people with functioning brain cells have been shooting holes in the story since the first priest peddled it.
Khemikal, you think too much through your caprice. Start thinking to get enlightened instead thinking just to be shutting down enlightenment when presented with it and everything will become easy.
I know everyone will hate me for saying this, but, sometimes the one who compliments you doesn't care about you, and the one insults you does so because he says greatness in you and knows you are more than what you have become.

You guys are the ones that keep telling me god is so and so. It's not my problem if you keep describing a fucking monster, lol.
It's not like -I- believe that god is anything at all. Frankly, I can't help but think that if there were a god, it would be just a -skosh- better than the object of your fixations.

It is better than all our thoughts, but all words have connations, I can't be in your mind and see how things sound to you.

You say that, but it doesn't sound better than -any- of my thoughts. Maybe you should stop blaming the audience for your failure to deliver the message? You describe a god that is not worthy of worship. It's not even worthy of love...it's not even worthy of friendship. You describe a god that...were it a human being..would be in a padded cell, a cage, or executed.
We kill better people for less than what you describe. Your god is an unsalvageable mess.

And we get Shiite religion; too.

Let me guess: the 12 Imams you preach about?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelver
As far as I know, this is the path, from the Quran:
Quote:Sura 31, The Quran:
( 22 ) And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.
Quote:Sura 2, The Quran:
( 256 ) There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Why the wall of texts and the theories, when the Quran sums the base directly in these two verses?

You are right, I should. I will try to develop skills to better convey what is in my heart.

MK, the sooner you realize most people here are atheists simply because of lack of evidence, rather than, 1. We aren't reading the book right, 2. We're angry at god, 3. We don't want to, or 4. All of the above, the better off you will be. Try actually listening to the reasons people give you for their positions. That's like...step one in any debate/discussion about anything.
