Do you guys ever wonder about..tge devil?
#41
RE: Do you guys ever wonder about..tge devil?
I once sat on a screwdriver and it hurt my butthole so much I couldn't talk for a few minutes. And for a few seconds I could barely breathe.

And by "screwdriver" I don't mean a vodka and orange mixer. I mean a big fucking screwdriver with a big red handle.

This story is 100% true. And it was the most painful experience of my life.

Thankfully, it didn't penetrate far and there was no damage.

For starters . . . I flinched so fast it couldn't get very far up. Thank goodness I didn't sit down hard.

But yeah... it wasn't great.

That's as close to a nightmare I have experienced. But I was awake and this actually happened!

If you ever want to give it another try I'm sure Vorlon could make sure you have a better experience next time out.

Here's an old Staff interview from 2010 where I'm asked, among many things, what the most painful experience of my life was and the answer was also the screwdriver incident Big Grin

But seriously though...never have that kind of uneasy feeling?
When you're alone somewhere and you feel something just off?
Like don't you guys ever feel a sort of push just before doing something awful but you only know it after some time. Like every time you do something awful just a split second before you actually do it you get a "should I really?" thought...
Gotta admit those things scare the crap out of me..
Like people in Canada to people in Korea all engage in the same type of evil acts.. How?
Who taught them? No one? Then how do they do the exact same evil things? The thought itself is scary tbh

I tend to not do awful things.

And people do bad things to each other because they're people. No devil necessary.

I would think that was hard to forget.

I think I get it.  I was raised fundie.  The devil was real.
A lot of people today think of "The Exorcist" (1973) as campy comedy.  The way I was raised it was -- literal.
I was given a rainbow colored stuffed animal snake for a birthday.  My Mother burned it.  She actually believed that a demon could possess a fake snake and then possess me.
The devil was behind all temptation, and was constantly working to drag your pure soul to burn in hell forever.

If you are raised that way it can take some time to shake the images and emotions, even when you realize that this creature can't possibly exist.  -- And if he does, he would be a lot better company than Yahweh!!!

But to answer the OP - no, I never dream of devils or demons, despite my upbringing.

I have a hard time even recollecting what I've dreamt the night before.

I once jumped up onto a boat as it was reversing out of the dock.
You know that bit they tie the rope around?
Anyway, similar experience.

I don't worry about the devil due to the simple fact that I'm not teetotal fucknuts crazy.  Erm, I mean 'one of the faithful'.

Sometimes I wonder why he didn't come to earth... pretend to do a bunch of miracles, and just get people to worship him instead.
