The benefits of being christian. Where are there???
RE: The benefits of being christian. Where are there???
Some theists here seem to love totalitarianism. Their lack of empathy towards others in obeisance to their supreme leader is nauseating.

Most of that ilk that post here seem to come from the good ole' USA, I wonder if that signifies anything.

Their lack of science understanding should certainly be a source of embarrassment to all other educated Americans. The Christians here seem to be much more reasonable on average. And the Muslims, and the Hindus and the Jews et al.

EDIT: to add, by here, I meant the world outside of the USA.

Aloha DrFuzzy: Oh please, please, please let me try! You ask me a question I can't possibly know and I'll ask God for the answer. Make sure it is a 'yes or no' question or 'true or false' question or even multiple guess. Please, no philosophical questions, no personal questions and no question about the future. By the way, I am a stupid surfer clown and can't read math so feel free to ask a math question if you wish. I promise not to cheat.
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.

I remember reading something about not putting God to a test.

I asked permission first. He said He was up for it! Of course, He could be playing me for the fool--AGAIN! He thinks He's sooo funny!

Why is god scared of tests? Surely she knows everything?

Google top religions of the world sport Christianity almost has it 2:1 over islam. Even so Even the bible says Christian at the end will be in the minority. all but a "reminate" shall be taken/go Home.

Course it is. Drich and his deity of choice failed a simple test. Since that, Drich has been ducking and diving.
Please explain How did God fail?

Sure. You claimed that you could ask your god any question and your god would provide an honest answer. When I challenged you to do so, your god failed to provide any answer, and you dismally failed to provide any answer. You failed and your deity of choice failed. The besdt you could imagine was a risible bucket of crap. It is difficult to imagine a bigger truck of fail. When confronted with this failure you did two things. First, you claimed that you had not addressed my actual question to "god" thus you had no answer. Second, you made up a whole bucket of baloney that you somehow thought for reasons which escape me was my claim.

In short, you lied your butt off.

Idiotic claim and failure to understand how the quote function actually works. Your deity is a fail.

No, you could redeem yourself by asking your deity (whom you claim to converse with) and provide an actual answer to the question asked. But everyone knows that you are unable to do so, including you.

My question stands and you are unable to answer it.

Technically it's google that answers the questions Drich asks "god".  Though I doubt that claim as well..since a simple google search invariable turns up the mountain of ways drich is talking out of his ass about any given thing.

Malachi 3:12 says God DARES you to test Him! Of course, I am WAY out of context!

Well, god is scared! My God is not! Females god's are false god's. Of course they are scared--nice try Ashtoreth!

All nouns concerning God are masculine. Even, El-Shaddai(used by Abraham): God of many breasts(nurturing). However, in German, a wife is masculine. But, that actually makes sense because she is HIS wife.

This sounds like it could make for a decent joke thread.  Ask Haipule anything (well almost) and GOD will tell him the answer!  If that actually worked, it could come in handy on tests.  But oh wait - God would want you to study.  Ooh, lottery tickets!  But God probably doesn't approve of gambling, so casinos are probably out too.  (Yo SkyDaddy, tell me what cards he's holding - thanks dude.)  Hmm. Here, I'll throw you a simple one:  I have a classical guitar.  Where was it made?  (On Earth is not an accepted answer.  Neither is "in a luthier's shop" or any of it's equivalents.  You need to at least get on the correct continent.)  Chance of a correct guess:  1 out of 6.

Of course, if someone could do this for real, it would make news.   Dodgy   That would be fun.

What makes you think that God is opposed to gambling? I LOVE blackjack and I am scary good! God need not tell me what the next card is.

As far as the lottery, gambling is illegal here in Hawaii and there is no lottery. However, the authorities turn a blind eye to chicken fights which is cultural and I am NOT invited.

(true story)When I lived in Florida, I put God to the test. He would not give me future lotto numbers but, scratch off lottery tickets are historical. So we picked a location and reel to follow. I told Him I wanted at least a $20.00 winner. Everyday I would ask Him how many tickets I needed to buy to win. It got closer and closer until it was time to act. I went to that location and asked how many tickets to buy: He said 12. I bought those twelve. The first one was the $20.00 winner! The 12th one was a $15.00 winner and I had $6.00 in between! Total: $41.00. Profit: $29.00.

I cashed them in and did not play again. Why? Because it was a pain in the ass and was not worth it! Yet, a nice confirmation.

Your guitar question is a good one. We have it pinned down to Europe. I enquired further, it was made in Portugal by Carvalho. Nice guitar dude!
