Your hobbies/hobby ideas

Genealogy. Juggling. Chess and Go games. Reading.
I spent 26 years in a martial arts school, but my health won't let me at the moment. Maybe I'll get a chance to do some Tai Chi again . . . I've spent my life as a musician, so I don't really call it a hobby. My cat owns me, so she's not really a hobby.

Volunteering with the dog rescue.
I regard playing video games as a waste of time but it keeps me busy between dogs.
An ex-hobby of mine is roller derby, useful if you feel you haven't sweated like a pig in heat for a while and your joints are in far too good a condition.
Otherwise, try drawing, reading and writing. Those are normal non bone-breaky things I do now. If you have any serious concerns, are being harassed, or just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me via PM RE: Your hobbies/hobby ideas

Current hobbies: I am into photography, land scape and astronomy. I hike, bicycle and go camping. I listen to classical music and enjoy reading about history, particularly military history.
Travel internationally when I can. I enjoy simcity style computer games and play maybe few hours a month. I enjoy researching and then building very detailed and accurate models of ships. It is almost meditative. Just started to get into cooking. RE: Your hobbies/hobby ideas

Well, I have a couple.
Study history, watch documentaries, play drums (military, corps, big band, jazz, rock), video games, make conservation cabinets/archival display systems, collect militaria (mainly Prussian/German), debating, kayaking, weightlifting, little boxing, drink beer, annoy ideologues with memes (mostly far-left, they're more entertaining), some screenwriting/videograohy. Can be extremely difficult to fit it all in, so most I kind of "cycle" throughout the year in blocks. Oh, forgot I also go shooting, and get the telescope out on clear nights. Much harder to find a RL game but then I'm content playing online with funny money. Not expecting or looking to get rich from it. I forgot to mention cooking, but that is as much about survival as self amusement. Still it is fun to try making new things. Even if you don't have an instrument, there's lots to learn by reading. Learn a musical instrument. Hiking and other general outdoorsy stuff. Poo flinging might be for you. I play the Harmonica, juggle, paint, do stand up comedy, do jiu jitsu, mountain bike. Those are the top 6 hobbies for me.
Of course I also rock climb, but I wouldn't call it a hobby, considering I do it more than I work a job. |
