Stage One: Autolysis

The first stage of human decomposition is called autolysis, or self-digestion, and begins immediately after death. As soon as blood circulation and respiration stop, the body has no way of getting oxygen or removing wastes. Excess carbon dioxide causes an acidic environment, causing membranes in cells to rupture. The membranes release enzymes that begin eating the cells from the inside out.

So using your definition, are you saying that cases of people being confirmed as clinically dead (which means no blood circulation an not breathing) and successfully resuscitated, were in the process of self digestion? There is a case of a person being clinically dead for 17 hours, why no lasting effects of autolysis?

I quoted from the same website you linked to.

It's of no real matter, They all steal from the gospel of FSM
"For the only way to eternal glory is a life lived in service of our Lord, FSM; Verily it is FSM who is the perfect being the name higher than all names, king of all kings and will bestow upon us all, one day, The great reclaiming"  -The Prophet Boiardi-

Since you guys lost the Odin argument (evidence overwhelmingly points to Odin being a derivative of Babylonian mythology), Are we ready to continue with this argument?

So far I haven't seen anyone submit evidence against the true God.

Talk about being desperate. Not only was he not called Immanuel but this has been proven as the Hebrew "almah" (actually meaning "young woman") word wrongly translated into "virgin". The Hebrew language has a specific word (bethulah) for "virgin" but that is not used here.
Not only that but actual Christians admit this mistake and have actually corrected the translation, like in The Revised Standard Version (RSV)

as well as some other Bibles

But what am I wasting my time on fanatics, he's gonna believe what he wants to believe no matter what.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Here we go...
Why do you bible rookies always feel you can challenge me?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Septuagint
Quote:Seventy-two Jewish scholars were asked by the Greek King of Egypt Ptolemy II Philadelphus to translate the Torah from Biblical Hebrew into Greek, for inclusion in the Library of Alexandria.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almah
Quote:The Septuagint version of the Old Testament renders both Hebrew words almah and betulah as the same Greek word parthenos.

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Parthenos
Quote:From Ancient Greek παρθένος (parthénos, “maiden”).

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/maiden
Quote:maiden
1. a girl or young unmarried woman; maid.

A young unmarried Jewish girl WAS a virgin... Must I explain the Levitical laws to you?

Further more God says he would give a sign, a woman having a baby in and of itself is not a sign.

But the verse doesn't say "virgin" in the original translation, is the point F_M is making. That being a young maiden implies being a virgin doesn't mean the verse is emphasizing that implication.

Quote:Further more God says he would give a sign, a woman having a baby in and of itself is not a sign.

Then maybe you should read the following verses as well, Huggy. Try not to be too selective.

Here's the verse of interest along with the following verses for your reading pleasure:

Quote:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you[c] a sign: The virgin[d] will conceive and give birth to a son, and[e] will call him Immanuel.[f] 15 He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, 16 for before the boy knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, the land of the two kings you dread will be laid waste. 17 The Lord will bring on you and on your people and on the house of your father a time unlike any since Ephraim broke away from Judah—he will bring the king of Assyria.”

No Need to fix it, I'm saying is I'll address that issue once it's clear we are past the whole Odin debacle.
