What beliefs would we consider reasonable for a self proclaimed Christian to hold?

An automatic gearbox doesn't cancel the inventor does it?

What's the point of positing God if things can work by themselves anyway? Learn to use some Occam's razor when you get the chance.

Life and automatic gearbox are two different things.

Do you have any evidence of things outside of God's creation, that just appear by organizing themselves into functionality and working?

No, but you want to use God's creation as an example of that?

So apart from nature, including the functionality of the elements and chemicals, you don't have any evidence that things work by themselves.

Things don't work by, or create themselves. That is a fact, not a theory.

Then show us a scientific research to back up that claim.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Do have any evidence of something aside doing this specific form of organization. And a shred of evidence that anything is gods creation .

Quote:No, but you want to use God's creation as an example of that?
No it's you who want to assert it as gods creation without merit

So side from nature we have every reason to accept self assemblage and no reason to believe that a god has anything to with nature .

Nope man made objects don't . Things in nature do as all the evidence abundantly shows . And there is of course no reason to think a god is involved in nature in any form .

So, we're back to snowflakes. Do you believe your gawd had carves every one?

A better example, do you believe that if sodium and chlorine come into contact they will lie inert until your gawd kick starts the chemical reaction? Fact, busted.

Let's test your divination powers, shall we?  What courses were on the most recent transcript that I obtained from an institution of higher learning?  I'll give you a hint:  There were six courses for that particular diploma.  If you really have a god on your side, you should be able to name at least three.  Answer as if your eternal soul depends on it.   Big Grin

I'm not expecting much, if anything, from He lives. I'd be surprised if he even gets the faculty right.

Chemicals were designed and made by God to have specific activities.
If you want to give an example of something which creates, organizes or assembles itself, do not use God's creation.
I have mentioned that already.
