That's funny! The Greek word translated as "cross", stauros, just refers to a stick with a pointy end--stake. Jesus merely stated that "If you wish to be my disciple(student), you must pick up your stake and follow me". He also said that you cannot build a structure with partial information and, you cannot fight a battle with out all the necessary information to guarantee a victory. So then, (paraphrasing)pick up you stake and follow ME as I gots people so to see and things to do and I'm not going to be here tomorrow! See how simple?

Yet, Christians think they must "bear a cross"! Whatever that means?

Welcome to the world of complete uselessness! Me, me, me, my, my, my! Do you not know that if you reach out to others in God's love(not "yours", don't be so arrogant!), they will love you back! Now, HOW COOL IS THAT?!

To agapE-love others, according to Greek thinking and usage, merely means to take an active interest in another's life, up to, and including, sexuality. Therefore, it has conditions. Only a stupid theologian will tell you it's "unconditional" or, "impersonal"!

Would you quit assuming that I am smart! I am a stupid surfer from Huntington Beach CA! grrrrrrrrr………. what?
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.

Again - I'll pass on your preaching. If your god wanted me to know him, he'd appear in physical form and wouldn't need messengers.
Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

You are assuming the lie that God is, somehow, omni everything. The bible does not indicate that God is "Omni" anything!

People often ask, "Why do bad things happen to good people"? It is a stupid question because Jesus said, "Why do you call me 'good'? 'Only my Father in the sky(authoritative position) is good'".

So, they will have a tough time explaining what "good" means.

Jesus also said, "When did I know you?". If He said that He does not know them: then how is He omni?

Therefore, as the bible plainly states, "God knows the ones whom are His! Therefore, He doesn't know the rest! So, whatever happens to them is the product of worldly thinking! NOT God!

Do you want a different God? There ain't one!

There's a steaming load presented here.  It reeks of attempted humor disguising religiosity.

And there are certainly plenty of gods.  A wonderful list of deities

Nice start! "Believing" in God is only for the completely useless! Glad your being useful! However, full usefulness requires a trust in a Father so you can have huge balls! My Father is BIG! So are my balls!

I never said believers were useless. I couldn't be a functional adult, especially in the United States, if I thought all believers were useless. I think they'd still be useful if they didn't believe though. Although I hate to put people in categories of "usefull" and 'useless." Even people that I don't like, and that tends to be for very good reason, are useful to somebody.

But, I'm happy with my balls. I don't need to bounce around on them like that episode of South Park. Wink
