"Jesus would rather kill, not marry, gay people" - Franklin Graham

Genesis 2:20-24 ESV
The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Mark 10:2-9
And Pharisees came up and in order to test him asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” 3 He answered them, “What did Moses command you?” 4 They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and to send her away.” 5 And Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. 6 But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ 7 ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife,[a] 8 and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

The "no ambiguity" comes from the 1000 other verses that refer to marriage, the marriage bond/covenant, the Israelite laws governing marriage, the complimentary nature of marriage, etc. There is no indication anywhere that God's definition of marriage was less than exactly prescribed between a man and a woman.

I don't find the article particularly apt, given that it cites that marriage, according to God, is permanent, and divorce immoral. Hardly something you'll find much adherence to among the Christian faithful, whose reasoning you are defending.

Regardless, neither passage even mentions gay marriage. Where are the passages where God "unambiguously" forbids gay marriage?

So Jesus and his followers are psychopaths who like to kill people?

Wow. Maybe we should be locking these people up or something?

Yeah, cause you guys break all those other rules.  Apparently god says it's okay to eat those meats he forbids early on.  And wear clothing of mixed fabrics.

Your holy book is a joke.  And so are you if I'm honest.  You don't REALLY believe it.  You just use it to justify your bigotry like almost everyone else.

BTW: Odin would kill Christians, not accept them. And he's right! Wonder how that makes you feel, jackass.

He will just blather that it's condemned in the new testament too as if that helps him

As to the OP, it's sad to see such a steaming heap of religious hypocrisy can continue to exist. Just goes to show what a metric shit ton of gullible people are capable of swallowing. Wasn't it Billy Graham who was crying like a baby when being caught out for adultery, after excoriating Jim Bakker for the same thing? Yes. Yes, it was. "I have sinned against you..." All you religious people will line up and forgive these people in a heartbeat. You religious people ought to be more christlike, and scourge them out of your money temple. Hypocrisy writ extremely large. I'm not an angry atheist. I'm just one who looks at this kind of lunacy and shakes his head at how wrong-headed people can be when they embrace that insanity. You poets can sort through the meter, BTW.

Know why, because that's what you did, Franklin Graham did not say God would kill them, that was the lying writer of the article and you. That statement was not in quotes nor did it refer to anything Franklin Graham said, deceit is the key and go to method of atheist as has been proven here in the OP. Thanks for the demonstration of atheist tactics. We're watching.

Pot meet kettle.

I'm sure you are referring to yourself, it couldn't be me because I pointed out the truth of what was in the article. Everyone accepted what Kit said as fact when it was a lie and you are now backing Kit and the lie, just another typical atheist ploy. Again we're watching.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
