Darling. I meant only that beliefs change over time, no matter what was written in a book or on a piece of paper several thousand years ago. So please don't expect beliefs to remain the same just because the bible says so.

A persons level of consciousness has been observed and measured in both sleep and death. When the body or brain cease to function, we cease being awake and aware. There is no evidence of any kind of consciousness once the brain dies. We determine based on the available data, and so far, based on observation, there is no further consciousness.
