If your "soul" ends up living on then hooray for us, but you should never let it influence any of your decisions in life. You may well be wasting the only life you will ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever have. THE IRONY! TOOOO MUCH!!!! IT BURNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I understand, Shell-belle, if you're watching. Darling. I meant only that beliefs change over time, no matter what was written in a book or on a piece of paper several thousand years ago. So please don't expect beliefs to remain the same just because the bible says so.
Judging by the wondrous diversity of faith, that much should be plain to any who look eh?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Now, if you'll excuse me - I have my "life outside of Atheist Forums" and school. See you in a few hours.

When the body or brain cease to function, we cease being awake and aware. There is no evidence of any kind of consciousness once the brain dies. We determine based on the available data, and so far, based on observation, there is no further consciousness. Does that worry you? Want to point out something - Quote:I'm not asking for proof, just your own thoughts. Quote:I see, could you prove that please? Slight contradiction.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them. Plenty of time for things to get "adjusted". Last time I checked, Abraham lived BC not AD. According to my sources the Torah was written by Moses, I believe he lived Bc also. You like to tell me to go to websites so I'll do the same for you. Refer to http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cd...ritten.htm which is a Jewish teaching site. RE: Life after death.

Quote:Have you ever considered what if? What if YOU are wrong and the Christians are right? Would you care then? If not, then that's fine cuz you can suffer the consequences. How you ever considered what if? What if YOU are wrong and the Muslims are right? Would you care then? If not, then that's fine cus you can suffer the consequences.
